A mosque which used to be a meeting place for the September 11 attackers has been closed, German authorities have said.

Officials said that the Taiba mosque in Hamburg and a cultural association connected with it have been banned.

The prayer house, formerly known as al-Quds mosque, used to be a meeting and recruiting point for some of the September 11 attackers before they moved to the US.

Weekly news magazine Focus reported that the mosque had again become the city’s “main centre of attraction for the Jihad scene”.

According to the report, some members who belonged to the Taiba group and prayed at the mosque have moved on to a radical training camp in Uzbekistan.

In the verse you mentioned, Muhammad is referring to these four months.

It is not unlawful for Muslims to kill at any time of the year.”

The fourth meaning of Ramadan is called “Sharpen” and “peak” of the sword or the spear, to prepare for battle. The Muslim must sharpen during the fasting month, the sword of reason and pointed the spear of his faith, to understand better the truth of Islam and are ready to fight well against all of its own internal and external enemies (unbelievers).

…because the month of Ramadan is admittedly the most sanctified month in the year. But these four months were specifically termed as sanctified months for the simple reason that their sanctity was accepted even by the pagans of Makkah….
